RA podcast | Duval Timothy interview

I loved speaking with Duval about his new record. It was so special to hear about the ideas behind exhibitions like Mahsiwel, which explored the rich identity of South London's Lewisham borough using language abstractions, strikingly coloured textiles and memories of 1977's Battle Of Lewisham. We spoke about his experience building a studio and learning traditional weaving techniques in Freetown, the artist-owned ethos behind his label Carrying Colour, and his commitment to wearing only blue clothing.
