Power of Radio (documentary)

What makes community radio so crucial in times of crisis? For more, visit Resident Advisor: https://www.residentadvisor.net/podcast-episode.aspx?exchange=513

I produced and hosted an audio tribute to my first love, radio.

Community radio is holding together underground music scenes in 2020, providing a space for curators to keep introducing new music to listeners while we can't be together in the club. This episode of The Hour podcast tries to build a better understanding of what makes radio so powerful in a moment of crisis.

Expect to hear stations across the world sharing their experiences of lockdown, (Seoul Community Radio, Dublab.ES, Radio Raheem, Foundation FM, Boxout.fm & Hong Kong Community Radio), find out what it's like to broadcast on national radio during a pandemic with BBC presenter Jamz Supernova, and learn about streaming from home with NTS head of production Rory Bowens.
